*Wonders: Why bring this up during E3? ... *

First black president or not, I hope he gets soundly defeated. Economically we cannot afford him. Security wise, we cannot take that chance. Not that John McCain will be light-years ahead of Obama, but he is the better choice at the moment.

i hope so it would be a great direction for america take a fresh start

Yup.
Check the competition:

Both lie about their policies and what they plan to do once they get in office, so I'll just vote for the candidate's party and not what they say (both McCain and Obama are lying just like every politician in history, except for the honorable Mr. Tester).

Run-on sentences aside, this country will be in constant danger no matter who wins and Americans deserved to be taxed, since most of my fellow countrymen no longer care to save this country and it's better to just rip the money right from their pockets.

Don't you guys know that this picture is true!

No I am actually kidding.  I find him to be a much better candidate for us.  I am actually going to be voting for him in November.

Hi, this is Vince with Shamwow.

LOLOL @ the picture!

There are generally three factors which determine which party will gain the presidency.

1. The incumbent president's approval rating (which is historically low now)
2. Economic growth rates (which are much, much lower)
3. The length of time the incumbent party has been in power.

All of these factors, taken with a long-term lead in nearly every poll, indicate that Obama will be the next president.

I have no love for either of the candidates but I don't want Obama in. This "change" slogan is hilarious. He has the same policies as democrats except a weaker policy on foreign affairs. Politics is all about scratching each others back and getting money and power now. Until someone comes up and plays the "Big Stick" politics (FDR) and basically says I don't give a...to special interest groups its kinda bleh to me. Race has no effect on who I vote for whatsoever.

Not if you go by the old south rule "One drop of blood makes you black."

Then it would be Jimmy Carter I believe. Or Bill Clinton.

If you go by racially... well he'll be the first black looking president.  Though he's not all black.

He's actually distant cousins with both Dick Cheney and George Bush.
