@Iron How do you know they haven't started versus? I'm sure key members of the KH team like Nomura would be able to do both games. Also It makes no sense at all to not announce your third most successful franchise. Also on the wii the development times would be far less than on an hd console.(I'm thinking 2 or 3 years.) If they finish versus in 2010, which is likely then they could start KH3 and get it in at the end of the generation just like KH2. Or like I said before Key Members of the team could work on both projects.

 

Ok if it is.. I still think it's going to take too long. Or either they give a bit less than what they could've offered. Either way I'm not expecting KH3 this gen. It won't hurt if SE proved me wrong though.

I find interesting that even since early 2007 the rethorics haven't changed much. Eventually, all arguments end up with one side talking about games out now or soon while the other talks about future potential titles.

You 360 owners better buy atleast some of these JRPGs because we don't want Microsoft to lose to much money and go bankrupt. I am not trying to order anyone around or make anyone mad though so please don't flame me.

Gran Turismo 3 - 1,06 mln. in 3 weeks with around 4 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

 

1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.
PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 25k.

With this gen's RPG starvation, the PS2/BC-PS3 is the RPG champ. Sorry... its true. 360 has some neato stuff though. I played through em... awesome fun for a little while. Back to PS2 now.

I think the 360 definately qualifies as King of Sparse-HD-RPG-Land though.  For sure.
