I think the Wii add on that makes the Wii controller do what the Wii controller should do is the worst.

But they just announced games that we all knew they were coming! There was nothing great except for the Final fantasy 13 stuff. Otherwise it was very predictable. The whole expo has becoming very dissapointing. Is obvious that E3 is more media oriented than gamer oriented nowadays.

You knew MAG was coming?

I've been gaming longer than many of you have been alive.
I think that E3 has seen its glory days. The big announcements are few and far between. Companies will get their word out how and when they feel is appropriate. And fewer and fewer will go to LA.

Why exactly would it be good if we lost a vehicle for game reveals? |
So you don't think it's possible for Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo or any other publisher to unveil their games if it's not at E3? It's not like all games are revealed at game conferences...

A lot of people are complaining about this, but I think it's because many of us overestimated the capabilities of the Wii-mote. It's been such a revolution that we've attributed abilities to it that weren't actually there. Let's just be excited that Nintendo is offering us this next step and that it will probably only sell for $20. Packed with Wii Sports Resort, that's a pretty good deal. My only question regarding the add-on is will games be able to be developed with that as an optional add-on offering control setups both with and without it, or will it be like the 4MB expansion pack was for the N64 where you had to have it or you couldn't play the game?

To clarify, I mean $20 by itself. With Wii Sports Resort for an assumed $50 is a good deal.

Lets be honest, 256 players on a single map is great on size alone. Also we were shown again how pliable LBP is. Plus Sony announced their own version of Movie Rentals. MS showed a revamped dashboard, Avatars (lame), showed they have pockets deep enough to get even FF on thier console and showed off the new abilities of the dashboard.
Nintendo...
I just dont see how you can see the two HD consoles has having as bad a conference as Nintendo. Really they should have just sat this one out.
I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.

"is it Wii FIt that has sold as many as PS3's sold? Thats a LOL Look at the total sales of software is it just me that sees Nintendo titles hitting 10m+ and you say they arent making a difference? Another LOL!"
"Hell, with all the negative hype Sony spin, people just aren't interested cost is too high and to get the true HD experience (1080p, 7.1 surround) you will need a $1000+ system. THAT IS GOING TO DO IT IN A RECESSION! PS4 will not happen"

I watched all of them and Nintendo was the most entertaining of the 3. MS had FFXIII to save the day but apart from that it's minor.
