The franchise is, not the PC game.

Oh yeah? Everything I've read says that Origins will be getting ported to consoles at a later date, but the direct quote from BioWare Guy (forget who) was pretty vague. Are you saying that they're making a different Dragon Age game for console? Or that PC > console?
I was a little disappointed this E3 but I'm kinda excited for the fall update.

They did not say the game would be going to consoles, they were pretty vague. But just look at the gameplay screens of Dragon Age: Origins and tell me how it's even possible to port it to consoles... it simply isn't. I suspect they will do what they did with the Baldur's Gate franchise and release a console-centric ARPG, instead of the main game.

Ah. I'm not sure, either, but if what's their face is doing it with Sacred 2, surely the mighty BioWare can manage. It must be easier to rework the controls than to build a whole new game, right? But I guess we'll see.
