Either this game will be a great success, it could have unique elements, and gameplay other shooters didn't have, OR it could be the complete opposite. It would probably have EVERY CON a online shooter ever had, all the time, every server.

DONT FAIL ME ZIPPER! I'VE BEEN A HARDCORE FAN OF SOCOM SINCE SOCOM 1!

I'm not sure what to say about this game. 256 is....alot.

If it feels anything like the Battlefield but on a larger scale, that'd be good. I wouldn't mind if the graphics were dumbed down abit to support a 256 players with a good framerate - I'd still be playing some N64 games if they were added to today's consoles with options for co-op and online play.

i say the preview is pre-rendered. I like the idea, and everyones wondering if they can pull it off....im going to give them the benefit of the doubt, seeing how a certain game looks amazing and has no lag.

Either way about it if theres going to be battles this massive then they better have some realllly nice co-op vehicles.

Its going to be 256 MP R2,Just another FPS,I highly doubt anyone will be using squads,Even in Computer games no one uses squads.

I will give Sony the benefit of the doubt and assume they are able to produce a good online shooter. This game sounds like a tremendous waste of resources. The last thing we need is another online only fps/tps.
