FFXIII is far more important this generation to more people than MAG and it was a definitive staple of the PS3. When you thought of PS3 exclusives FFXIII was on the very top. It would be like Halo going to the PS3. MAG seems interesting but more than likely it'll be just another shooter in a crowded sea of shooters this generation. Whereas people kept saying FFXIII was the king of RPGs and losing other JRPGs to the 360 was irrelevant while FFXIII was exclusive to the PS3. In the end MS>>>>Sony>>>>>>>>>>Nintendo as far as these press briefings go. I have a feeling all 3 will show more great stuff beyond just their keynote presentations though. |
they haven't lost a JRPG. remember, FFXIII wont be released on the 360 in japan!
Yes, MAG may just be another shooter, but a shooter with a lot more on offer and like no other on any other platform.
Yes FFXIII was big news, but it won't change the fact that it is a small deal made big. Where it matters, it is still an exclusive and unlike 360 which only showed 2 worthy exclusives, the PS3 showed a whole bunch of them.
Also you clearly are overlooking how close the price is now between a top end 360 which still offers less variety and HDD next to a 80gig ps3 for not much more.
Lets be honest here for a moment, MS didn't offer much other then FFXIII being no longer a PS3 exclusive. In reality, it is not a big a deal as it has been made out to be by ranting fanboys. Even though MS paid their way into SE's pants, Sony still had way more on offer with way more class.

final fantasy 13 coming to 360, gears 2 looking better and BETTER everytime.... PORTAL 2 exclusive to xbox 360..... origional N64 version of banjo and kazooie coming to xbox arcade... can now install games so sony fanboys cant say NOTHING about the 360s so called noisy fan... ps3 had erm???? a tiny god of war 3 trailer and MAG? ha ha ha
