No. jRPG sales in the west on the 360 have not been mindblowing, and though this will give the 360 some more sales, the most important thing for Sony is that it is still exclusive in Japan where they really need the help. Of course XIII is a system seller, and this will hurt the PS3, but it is not dead at all

Around the Network

It's pretty big. It's not as big as Warner and HD-DVD, since FFXIII is still coming to the PS3. Sony just has no presence in America. Since Square Enix is adopting this whole "Worldwide" strategy, it's Sony's own damn fault.

I don't think we'll see any change in weekly sales though. It's big, but not huge. Let's remember that this game isn't as big as a GTA IV, and PS3 survived that. And there are still other exclusives, and reasons to own a PS3.

Don't get me wrong though, this shit is HUGE, and it sucks majorly for the PS3.

I would not be surprised at all to hear soon that MGS4 is being ported. It's the only major exclusive left on the PS3 from the former years. And their new IP's seem to fail big time compared to 360's new IP's. M$ have shown at E3 that they have a major diversity in there lineup. If Sony come out and show KZ2, R2 and GT5 but little else, it's nothing but shooters and driving. Not diverse at all. It's like the 360 is PS2 (in terms of diversity not sales) and PS3 is Xbox or N64. Never expected that. Also If Sony dont have people playing the games on stage and just show video clips as they usually do, then it will be a bad E3 for them. Although nothing can be as bad as their E3 2006, that was the worst most boring conference Ive ever seen.
