Forums - Nintendo - What was ur deciding factor in buying a wii?

Number of factors really, the price, the size, the color (at the time they were announcing the black one, but then they changed to white, but it's ok), star fox, Brawl, motion controllers and the fact that it was nintendo. But mostly because it was nintendo, even if it would have cost 500 bucks I would have managed to get it

I wasn't really sure which "next gen" console to get or even to get one at all, but when i saw a mario galaxy clip of the last level on stage 6 (RIP) I knew i had to get a wii.

So I'm just curious, what was ur deciding factor?

Which world? what is stage 6 (nothing is named "stage" in SMG so I don't know what you mean)

My deciding factor was it's Nintendo, I was going to have one last console and not buy anymore, but if the motion sensing is improved next gen then Nintendo's hand will once again push me by the small of my back into their blue ocean.

I am very interested in the new add on at the moment, I need to know more about it.

I buy every Nintendo console, not because I am a Nintendo fan in particular. I am a Mario Fan. There was bound to be a Mario game sooner or later.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

By last level i mean last level of the whole game.

By stage 6 i mean the website, it's like youtube but with higher quality videos, but it doesn't exist anymore, hence the RIP.

It's a Nintendo console, that's enough for me.

Oh man I remember seeing pics of the black wiimote.  They looked so cool.  Even if Nintendo's taking it slow with the actual console colors till they work out supply they should put out wiimotes in different colors at least.

same reason I bought other Nintendo consoles.

For the inhouse titles :)

I knew I would be able to get a quality Zelda, Mario, Smash, Mario Kart, and Pikmin game for the console, and hopefully alot more. Mario, Smash and Kart alone would have justified my purchase- Smash alone would if the Wii was $150 (and thats with shelling out $100 for 4 brand new controllers prior to buying it so I could continue smashing without resorting to using the wii remote)

It was a home console made by Nintendo. In these troubled times, that's the closest thing to a sure thing we have.

I wanted to see all the 1st party greats that Nintendo fans hyped. And trust me, it was definitely worth it!

I played Super Mario 64 for the 1st time in my life on the Wii. I played my first Smash Bros game, Brawl! I bought my 1st Nintendo console, Wii!!!

And next, I willl Experience the World's 1st 1:1 motion controller, Wiimote Plus! :)
