^^^ HAHAHA, yeah because all this time the PS3 was outselling the 360 on its superior gaming library....

X360 = 38-39m

PS3 = 34-35m

Prediction: The PS3 will surpass the 360 on weekly sales after it drops to $299 on all regular weeks (no big releases).

Like the Xbox 360, the PS3 is a mortal console, and it will need to prove itself to acquire the games it desires.

I don't always agree with you, but when I do I usually agree a lot.

Indeed, this has shocked people because it was the definitive proof that the PS3 suffered from Sony's many mistakes with their console strategy during this gen. MGS4 being exclusive only heightened Sony's fans feelings of the contrary, and that made for a worse fall after this announcement.

 Anticpations, but bear in mind I go for long stretches without signing on, and then have a week or two where I play a lot. With a 360/PS3/Wii/DS/PSP/PC, I don't get a lot of time with each individual console, especially given my my heavy preference for PC gaming (currently on a Natural Selection kick).

Doesn't mean I don't like my PS3, as I really do have fun with it).

That's a bit of a stretch. Really desperate rationale even. Until we know the specific stats on each version we won't be able to coroborate such theories.

That argument don´t hold water, SE cleary stated that the game is dev on the PC and with their own tools they can achieve a good multiplatform game, mostly because that was their goal, the superior version thing will end up like GTA4... just minimal differences... and more devs agree that porting from the PS3 to the 360 is easier...

If anyone bought their PS3 2 years ahead of the launch of a game they claim to be the only reason they bought it, then claim they will sell it because the game is still being launched for it, are either liars, or idiots.

If I was going to buy a $400-$500 system for A game, I'd wait till the game came out and buy a used system, or I'd figure, prices will drop....

this is true but look at Burnout for example, the PS3 version is still marginally superior to the 360 version. A port is a port no matter how you draw the line.

The Xbox360 version may even be better... If you download the whole game to your HDD then it may have better loading times and perhaps even fewer slowdowns if they exist.
