So IMO MS just won E3 2008 with that Megaton bomb that just dropped. What do you think it will take for Nintendo or Sony to outstage MS? (now now, POSSIBLE announcements, no "Gears Of War 2 coming to PS3" because we all know thats not happening)

I'll start. for Sony : GOW 3 announced + Team Ico game (shadow of the collosus 2 hopefully) and either Jak and Daxter 4 or Uncharted 2 from ND.

for nintendo: New Zelda game + Kid icarus + announcing that they will produce more Wiis per month.

I don´t think those are enough. Sony needs to get a huge game that was exclusive to the 360 and more. Nintendo doesn´t need to win E3 to win

Nintendo- 2 or 3 nintendo games, or a Zelda trailer.
Sony- Team Ico Project, God of War 3 or any multiple other sony games.

I seriously didn't see anything new in MS' conference in terms of games with the exception of FFXIII. Also most of the games they boasted were multiplats. While they did make a big blow to Sony it doesn't matter to anybody else than MS fanboys and some Sony fanboys.

Nintendo isnt really competing against anyone this e3, they can get on with theyr own things while sony and microsft bitch slap eachother.

It's the first fucking day! Christ.

Let's wait at least until Sony's and Ninty's announcements before any "winners" are capped.

@DMJ, u came with a lot of heat just now, calm down. I dont know if u brang that from another thread but chill out. This is just to see wat ppl think is big enough to battle MS' press conference.

I think to even be plausibly considered, Nintendo needs Zelda, and Sony might be out of it, as it now has a two way swing to deal with. It needs to counter FFXIII and supply its own shocker on top of that.

so if Microsoft just had a 5 minute conference and said "FFXIII is coming to the 360" and thats all they announced.. would they have still won E3??

It'll be very easy to decide who won E3. If our website and many others don't crash during tomorrow's press conferences then Microsoft won. Simple as that. If some other announcement causes website meltdowns, then we can start debating.
