Forums - Gaming - Anybody else now less excited for FFXIII?

I am disappointed FFXIII is now for the 360, not because it is on the 360, but because it is Multiplatform.

Some of you know that Final Fantasy is my all-time favorite Franchise and because of that, i want the absolute best game possible. To me, in order for this to happen, the game needed to remain Exclusive and in this case exclusive to the PS3. I have this bad feeling that the game will now potentially br held back because of the impending port and SE will want to ensure the game runs well on both consoles. If SE still makes the PS3 version like they originally would have, optimizing the game with no regard for the 360 version, then this won't be an issue. But I have a feeling this will not be the case and my favorite Franchise may not reach its top potential.

I look at my favorite games of this generation and all of them are Exclusives, not Multiplatform, and I don't think this is a coincidence.

This isn't anti-360 at all, in fact, I would much rather they had announced FFXIII as a 360 Exclusive then have it Multiplatform

Assuming FFVersusXIII stays exclusive, it just pulled ahead for me in terms of anticipation.

P.S. It seems I'll have to wait even longer for it to get released here because of this announcement, time to go learn Japanese.

I am more disapointed that I am going to have to wait longer than I had previously hoped, as they will not be doing a simultaneous launch

No Wii version, Im not excited.

your still getting it, just be happy

Still excited. But now about achievements.

I couldn't care less.

But do you honestly think hardware is whats holding the FF series back? Its generally the ability of the developers to create an engaging title that hold things back more than hardware.

"Why do they call it the xbox 360? Because when you see it, you'll turn 360 degrees and walk away"

Well I wasn't excited about the game to begin with. :p And why the heck would the game suddenly become worse on PS3 when it's also released on Xbox360? :s That's the strangest thing I heard today, and that says something. :p And if you followed the news you'd know the game gets released in Japan on PS3 first, and then AFTER that they begin bringing it to Xbox360.. :s So the XB version of the game has absolutely nothing to do with the PS3 version. Meaning one won't affect the other.
