Microsoft just finished their E3 Conference and now it is time to rate how they did. Keep in mind, the expectations before, what was presented, and then the aftermath of what they showed.

I rate them a B+ overall.

Good trailers of their blockbusters along with a new movement in the casual area. But pretty boring overall. Final Fantasy 13 is definetely what made it go from a mediocre C to B+ as now Sony has lost one of its gems, and potentially, Microsoft has sealed America.

Right before the end, I'd have given it a 3/10...but the FFXIII announcement alone puts it at 9/10 in my book.

7/10 FFXIII was a huge anouncement for the 360, but the rest of the show pretty much sucked, and it doesn't have the same effect as an exclusive. Also many of the FF fans are on the ps3 so I don't see it really being too hyped.

pretty lame conference until the end, although Fallout 3 and Gears 2 looked really good.

Gears of War 2 looked incredible - easily rivals Killzone 2 for best console graphics. Netflix at no extra cost is a very nice announcement and so was the MMO-gameshow thing. Other stuff wasn't particuarly stand-out apart from FF13 of course.

wow at FFXIII, but not enough banjo

Meh, 7/10. The FF XIII thing saved them. Other than that, it was pretty worthless..

except for the ff13 announcement
i felt it was fairly boring and feel that theyre making a mistake with the new xbl interface (it looked horrid)
that said the only thing worth watching it for was ff13

Netflix was a fantastic anouncement.  But it is at no extra cost if you are already a NetFlix member.  Great GoW2 footage, Fable 2 looks awesome, FF13 looks great, Live update looks great,  Lots of big things, just no new games was disappointing.  9/10.

EDIT: Where the hell is Halo Chronicles???
