The people talking about a FFVII remake needs to think for a second. Odds are FFXIII will be in EU, US late 2009 (being generous). When will SE have the time to make a FFVII remake?

Another solid announcement especially for the RPG crowd would be White Knight Chronicles Japanese and US release dates. It would be huge if that game hit Japan in October or November and then got a US release date for March '09. I think that would tide over some of the reeling PS3 RPG fans such as myself.

Edit: A reveal of that rumored Tales game that was in some Japanese magazine a few weeks ago could help as well.

My 2 nex-gen systems: PS3 and Wii

Prediction Aug '08: We see the PSP2 released fall '09. Graphically, it's basically the same as the current system. UMD drive ditched and replaced by 4-8gb on board flash memory. Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.

I don't expect the remake is in development either, but it's not out of the question. It's a big company, and I for one can't account for what every development team they have is doing. An FF7 remake probably wouldn't use the same team as FFXIII, except for a few guys at the top.

God of war 3 is expected so it has to be something else to.

nothing, nothing at all that game was one of the reasons why i have brought a ps3, i dont know whenever i here the words exclusive and sony in the same sentence i will take it with a LARGE grain of salt.

Maybe FF7 exclusive might ease my pain

calm down, there are more games then jsut FFXIII on the system.
