I just updated my iPhone and immediately downloaded the MySpace app... Pretty cool. I saw there were already several cool-looking apps available.
What are some of you using so far?

I've got a touch, but charging you for the update is just ridiculous.
My brother has Super Monkey ball, which we does like, though I haven't played it myself
Yeah, charging Touch users for this is pretty lame.
Still, there's a crapton of cool stuff there. I'm finding all sorts of things to try out.

I assume you are sticking to the free stuff? Cause I would guess most things are completely overpriced
They legally have to charge for updates to the touch. Ofcourse they should made it like ten cents for the update!
Look, with the iphone, they are making a ton of money with kickbacks for the cell phone companies. With the itouch, they only make the initial sale yet your basically getting the exact same machine!!! So i would be okay with paying for an update.

FLASHLIGHT BABY!!!! Turns to a white screen and ups your brightness to max :D
Umm the local food one is pretty cool, I forget what it's called, but you can shake your phone and it turns a slot machine wheel and picks out a local eatery :D
From 0 to KICKASS in .stupid seconds.
@ davidwes, you pay the contract to give you the phone, the initial price is for the iPod. Why do they legally have to charge you?

Yeah, right now it's only free stuff.
LOL at Flashlight. Gonna download that now. I use that stupid thing to get around in the dark all the time. Brilliant.

The money for the iPhone is accounted for on a two year basis, which means that a percentage of your purchase it put on there books each month, same as the Apple TV which is why both get free updates. THe touch is just a one time thing, you purchase it and apple puts it on there books. They had some legal problems a couple of years ago about this issue and so they now handle there accounting this way. I will try to find a link about it.
For the first iphone apple made a percentage of your monthly phone bill. For the new iPhone apple is getting a sizable upfront subsidy for the phone. This means the iPhone is WAY more profitable then the touch.
