Yeah I am sure allot of things had to be reinvented/redone too be accepted. There is no question about it VR will be the next revolution (In my opinion). Think about it too grate motion controllers one in each hand and the Wii BB to walk?

And yes I know its too early but its fun too speculate :P   

It will release a system that while entertaining you also has the capability to massage your feet and bake muffins for you. Also, it will run on orange juice.

i have no idea what nintendo will do next gen , but i think they at least want to do something new in the control side of things. if they just release a wii 2 with a slightly improved wiimote, they will be directly competing with whatever other opponent consoles that decide to copy nintendo, and nintendo wants to disrupt to ensure they don't get left behind with all the copiers.
