^in some way the bosses are sorta the same, just a normal attack wont kill them, you hve to find a way to kill them

The bosses in zelda just seem bigger(I don't me by size), they easier to distinguish as boss fights, and each one is very unique. I can't say the same for god of war.

actually they are also unique on god of war, zeldas might be a bit better but they are also very good on god of war

Seriously, God of War opens with epic boss fights and continues with them throughout. How are ancient mythical creatures not memorable?

Who said memorable? Most of the boss fights play too similar imo. Most of them make you press a certain button that it tells you, and then there is an occasional thing you have to do like the first one with the hydras. In zelda you use the items you get to defeat the boss, and its far more complicated. I would say that Sotc has better boss fights than zelda though, but it should since that is what the game is mostly about.

well when i first played GoW, i ended up comparing it to a whole lot of games.

1) Shemnue - quick time event killing
2) PoP- great sets and locations with platform jumping and climbing
3) DMC- hack and slash

However, later I realised, GoW is it's own game in it's own right with elements of various other games blended together to make what I would say is one of the most perfect games I have ever played on a console to date (by this I mean GoW2). Everything from story, to graphics and sound right down to the gameplay is unbelievable.

And most Zelda boss fights force you to use the weapon you found in the dungeon to defeat them.  *yawn*

And it's a good thing that Shadow of the Collossus had better boss fights because that's about all it had going for it.  ^_^

God of War was an interesting series.  Fighting, puzzle-solving, and platforming... usually in pretty even portions.  I expected a hack'n'slash game when I first played it but was pleasantly surprised to find combat was very well broken up by various other aspects of the game.
