People would play on the PC because the games have better controls and are more fun with better online support and everything.

If that were the case, I believe the PS3 would have a better shot at the Wii, seeing how one of the biggest issues alot of people have with PS3 is it's price. In the same situation with PS3 vs. Xbox360 and a closee-together launch, 360 loses alot of it's advantages. One of the biggest ones 360 buyers cite is game selection. If PS3 and 360 were launched that close together they would have a roughly even library of games, eliminating 360's advantage there. That being said, both systems also have their downs, and assuming things go the same in terms of Xbox360 and PS3 hardware malfunctions, I believe PS3 has the advantage there, and that would push PS3 past 360 in said scenario.

You have a point if only the mouse as the controller ore up down left and right which simplifies things allot. I see my mum and little sis on the pc more then they are on the Wii and DS. And you get so much on a pc fore that price
