Meh, both the 360 and PS3 versions of OB, and probably L4D and EP3 did/will suck some serious mega balls.

These games are PC-only material.

No. The 360 and PC versions of HL2 and Portal are identical at least and I'm sure EP3 will be too. Online games do have the edge on PC, admittedly.

Ea has an impressive line up for e3

Probably... when it comes to LFD anyway... I think the game will thrive on Mods since it looks like the locations and weapons will be somewhat limited.

Though going through each stage will be like a new game each time eventually you'll get sick of those 4 terrains.

It's still great news however.

Bring it on! Bring it on!

Funny that, I could swear I was playing HL2/Portal on my system with hardly any load times, no slowdowns whatsoever, better AA, full HDR, and a 16:10 ratio @ 1680*1050, I must be wrong.

Hah, what?

They were fine on the consoles, not identical.  There's a big improvement in quality between the console and PC versions, and let's not even get started on the controls, which were designed for PC from the start.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

If we are talking about the 360 version which has fast load times, no slowdown and can be played on an unlimited size TV, then I believe they are pretty much identical. Certainly nothing to warrant 'sucks some serious mega balls'.

And the PC ...can't be played on an "unlimited size TV"?

The PC has a much higher resolution than the consoles, with more post-processing capabilities for the Orange Box games.

SamuelRSmith's being rude, but he's right about it being better. I think the 360 Portal and HL2 games are fine, but the PC versions are technically better, it's right there in the options menu.

I was talking about the 306 version aswell, which still takes terribly long to load comapred to the PC version, only plays at 720p, and is only 30fps.

Suck some mega balls comes from the controls, the lack of Steam on consoles, and the technical differences between the games (and the gap will likely be even better with these up-and-coming games).

I don't see how I was being rude, but I will tone myself down.
