@Soriku- The game is coming out next year, so it's likely SE will show something new that will get fans excited.

They win by showing off a game everybody knows already exists... and have since last E3?

And Nintendo wins by showing off what? Animal Crossing? Wario? Sony will be the most applauded if they show off FFXIII, so they win.

What's Nintendo have to do with anything?

Unless E3 is horribly disapointing E3 SHOULD be won by whoever makes a surprsing announcement and releases the best unheard of or rarely mentioned game. Something that hasn't seen footage yet.

For example God of War 3 for Sony or the new Team ICO game, A nother Halo related game, or some other big game... or for Nintendo... likely something like Wii Music.

Hell, if we would base it off already announced games, PC should win with another Spore demo. Which I guess would count for Microsoft?

 

And who are you to dictate who should and who shouldn't win. The people decide what's exciting and what isn't. What if a FFXIII trailer does make Sony the most talked about at E3?

 

Then we have witnessed a f#ing boring E3. Don´t get me wrong I love FF, but if a new TRAILER of a game we already know for about 2 years wins the show, I´ll never invest time in E3 again.

Bingo.  You can state it up however you want... but if that's what actually wins... E3 will have been a BIG waste of time and resources.

FFXIII isnt in the games Square has annnounced for the show.


But ,this may be because it will be unveiled at the Sony conference ,as MGS4 was last E3.

Sources on NeoGAF have said that there will be a big FFXIII blow out at TGS. I can't recall what they've said about E3, but I seem to remember them saying it will be there in some, probably limited, form.

Why wouldn't one of their biggest titles be there?
FF has global popularity, didn't SE say they want reach out more to western audiences?
If so, E3 seems to be the one of the best chances for that.
