my only concern is size. I'm hoping the main adventure will be just as big as the the earlier ones. The world for Monsters and CC for the DS were sorta small.

I said 2d sprites, which I'm correct. I never said it wasn't 3d.

 

There aren't any sprites so I'm nto sure what you're talking about...

 

 

Well there are many defitionitions to sprites, but I was using this one.

As three-dimensional graphics became more prevalent, the term was used to describe a technique whereby flat images are seamlessly integrated into complicated three-dimensional scenes.

Those character models look pretty flat to me.

Well, if there was any debate on what would sell more, DQIX or FFXIII, I think with today's announcement, it's safe to say FF will win out yet again...

My 2 nex-gen systems: PS3 and Wii

Prediction Aug '08: We see the PSP2 released fall '09. Graphically, it's basically the same as the current system. UMD drive ditched and replaced by 4-8gb on board flash memory. Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.

All I can tell you is that DQIX is the most preordered game in Japan and it doesn't even have a release date yet.

DQ = 99.999999% sure thing in Japan.

Agreed.  FFXIII wil be a massive hit on both the PS3 and 360

DQ 9 will sell around 6 million WW.



Boycotting the following:

1. Yoshi: He ate my car and spit out a toaster.

2. Igglybuff: Totally false advertisement. You can have as many as you like they don't buff nothing.

3. the Terms Hardcore/Softcore... We're talking Video Games. Not Porn.

4. The term Casual as relates to Gamers: We make them sound like outsider's that happen to play games.  If that were the case they'd own a PS3.

5. Donuts.... Beacause I drink Beer...... and the biggest fan of Donuts hates Beer.

6. Boycotts: Their so lame.
