Not a chance SK may go broke if Too Human bombs and they surely wont get another 2 sequels out of it.

Why do people keep thinking that SK has anything AT ALL to do with whether another E.D. is made? They don't own the I.P., Nintendo owns a patent on the "insanity meter", and games move from one studio to another, OFTEN.

So..."WHAT?" to everybody that keeps trying to bring Silicon Knights into this discussion, it's not their property, or their call.

I know we're going to see another Eternal Darkness game, it's just a matter of when.

And I doubt sales on the game were THAT BAD. I wish we had some tracking here on VG, but that game did pretty well as I recall. (Well enough that it's still 50 dollars at retailers, and you can STILL find that game selling on many store shelves. Poor sales, and most of the places I see it at would have blown it out at 15.99 long ago.)

Cause Silicon Knights were the ones who had the ideas for how to continue the series... and as the writers... you'd be worried about another group taking it over without knowing what was planned for the future.

This isn't the Legend of Zelda or something where you basically already know the plot.

Around the Network

I didn't know the plot to Twilight Princess, until I played it.

I DID know that I was going to fight the skully at the end of E.D., even though I didn't know the plot.

And not to knock Silicon Knights, I dig them a bunch, but there are plenty of studios at Nintendo who could handle this title, Retro being the first to spring to mind. Hire an art director like Goichi Suda to head up the visuals, and voila!
