Wow, a fox defender, unreal.  Most people don't hate Fox, they just take them for what they are, a joke.  I suppose you actually believe there is a "liberal" media also?

Also, the majority of internet, young, and techsavvy people are liberals. The culture also not only gives kids permission to bash the party they aren't part of, it actually encourages it. Your post is dead on, and 100 percent correct. MSNBC is even more left leaning than Fox is right. There is no middle ground, and despite these occasional "funny" stories, Fox is just as relavant a source of news as any other channel, if not more so, and as far as entertainment value goes, you can't beat the Fox Report or The O'Reilley Factor.

That said, my political views are very self serving and evil. Think less Nazi party, more Lex Luther.

On the other hand, I watch all news channels evenly, it's only the prime time news where Fox rules the roost, because The O'Reilley factor is hated by liberals for a reason. It's really, really good. It's like Sony fanboys hating on Zelda. Its greatness hurts their agenda.

If you don't believe most of the media, particularly MSNBC and the NYT leans left, then you're insane, and don't know what your talking about. I bet you have fun at your anti-war rallies in San Francisco.

Are you insane???  He's been proven wrong time and again and yet never issues a retraction.  Many guests have stated how he will pull a segment when things don't go his way or will just cut out when guests that disagree with him make good points.  No spin zone my ass.

It entertainment, not news.

I just said it was entertainment, and it's some of the best entertainment on television, and I'm not talking about pro-liberal agenda "laughing at him" entertainment. I'm talking about great interviews, and funny, serious, and compelling television. If you watch it as a show it's great. If you watch it as a partisan, you hate it. It's like Nintendo fanboys hating on FFXIII.

I used to watch it a loooong time ago.  Until it was proven his is a fraud in every sense of the word.  He is always somehow shocked that people won't come and debate him on his show even though they know they won't get a fair shake.

If nothing else, Bill is great because he pisses so many people off. There are like 10 books that are made up entirely of rants on Bill O'Reilley.

I don't care who you are, if you can make that many hippies hate you for that long of a period, your show is probably gonna be good.

You ever read a bad review? You ever seen a site that gives bad reviews just to get hits? There are two major ones, Giantbomb.com, and the escapist.

Now your pissed because you play the game that Bill constantly gives a bad review.

I could care less either way, but as far as reviews go, the bad ones are MUCH funner to read.

So, when I have to choose between Nancy Grace, Cooper Anderson, and Bill, there is really NO CHOICE. The better show by a billion zillion miles, is The O'Reilley Factor. It's not a better "news" program, if I want news, I'll read the ticker. FFS who watches TV for news anyway.

The O'Reilley Factor is a great, great, entertainment show, and I love when people call Bill racist and he responds, or when n00bs go on the show and he flames the hell out of them.

Recently, a gay group came on the show and gave him the pink brick award.

Now, honestly, if you don't think that was compelling television, then maybe television isn't the right medium for you, lol.

Zen, you have to rework your argument.  If it is entertainment for a specific group, people who lean to the right then it is niche.

The problem I have with Fox News isn't that it's right leaning or sensational.  I have the same problem with Fox as I have with all 24 news networks and morning news casts... None of them are news.  They are attention grabbers to get ratings.  I wish they wouldn't call them selves news, maybe current events discussion.

MSNBC and Fox News spend way too much time covering eachother and not real events that effect the general population. 

The real problem is that their isn't enough newsworthy stuff for 24 hour coverage.  It's just stuff to talk about at the water cooler the next day.

O'Reilly does ask some real challenging and fun questions, but he doesn't let people answer.

There are two types of journalism that matter, news and investigative reporting.  The networks are just regurgitating the AP wire or press releases and buy footage.

To be honest, I have judged you too harshly. I thought you were just a liberal detractor. In all honesty, if you could care less about politics and news, like myself, then you watch a broad range of news shows just for entertainment. I like seeing about the latest murder as much as anyone else.

However, I admit I've kinda gotten hooked on the factor because it's just so funny and freakin' entertaining sometimes. Dennis Miller makes me lol, always, and I LOVE the responding to mail section. It might be wrong or whatever, I don't care, but it's great TV if you enjoy controversy and that brand of entertainment, but want to filter out all of the boring stuff.
