pop games always have been great games, i remember first time i play sands of time it was awesome.

GOTY is a bit of a stretch..

Yea, add it to the giant list of games that IGN has claimed GOTY contendor.

IGN has bucked against the norm before. They gave Okami GOTY over Gears of War and Twilight Princess even though it got a worse review from them. Obviously most GOTY's are going to GTA IV, but if Prince of Persia turns out amazing, it could sneak in a few.

Yea I remember that sands of time got couple of awards,,,so it's not out of imagination that this game would also get some awards
