I would wait on the price cut and get a 360. It has the best library of current and upcoming games. Money well spent.

Ummm....what?  1500 hours?  Even if it is your first character, and you waste time with pvp/exploring/crafting/etc, I'd say you could do it in around 3 weeks (in game).  Probably even shorter now that they reduced xp required and boosted quest xp for the lower levels.

I took it to mean that it takes 1500 hours to get to 70 and reach max (season 6 epics) I have hard getting to 70 takes several hundred hours. The new boosts piss me off anyway, as it makes Druids travel bonuses moot. Who needs cheetah form when you can get a mount >.>

@Hawkeye. If you can, get Morrowind instead, its a better game than Oblivion.

^^Do not listen to him, they are basically the same with Oblivion having an extensive graphics upgrade.

As much as I love WoW I would get a 360 on Sunday. $299 is a solid price, you will have plenty of games to keep you going and you can get more for your money this Sunday with some of the deals. Target probably be the best throwing in a $50 gift card.

WOW hatred is getting to be stupid, imho. The game rocks, and it's a grindfest if you want it to be. I've been in WOW for over 2 years now, it's been worth every penny of my time and money.

I also have a 360, and it's a blast for the change of pace, and there are alot of awesome games to play on it.

My advice is to first ignore a majority of the negative junk you see alot of these opinionated clowns posting. Million own 360, and million are in WoW, so who the F#$k are they to post that they are both crap? I like my preference more then whatever the heck the like. If you won't be able to play WoW in the coming years (College isn't that hard dude...take it from somebody with 2 engineering degrees, and I'm no genius), then get a 360.
