Forums - Sony - mgs4 problem

I did not notice any slow downs during the cut-scenes. Which Act did you notice the problem in?

Thanks for the input, Jeff.

Those were "dramatic" slow downs. Kojima did that on purpose!!

........heh, heh. I think they fell for it.

like in mgs3 when boss would take your gun...it would always do a dramatic slowdown of her taking your gun and disassembling it like she was the one that made the gun...that was so annoying

The Boss must have had a Ph.D. in gun disassembly because she was really ridiculous with that stuff!

Yeah...I lost a controller because of that final boss fight in the field of flowers (r.i.p. dualshock 2)

I never noticed any of that myself, and the story, while strange at times, was mostly understandable (except the end, wtf is up with that, I am not going to mention what it is but if you have beaten it, you know what I mean).

with 'dramatic' slow downs do you mean bullet time?
but I've checked youtube and saw exactly the same things. I am now reliefed.
thx guys

The plot was unoriginal, pointless at times and contradicting of it's own plot as well as previous games events.

what contradictions? and put a spoiler warning if you answer.

It's called field stripping and it's actually quite easy.

I dunno how to do spoiler tags on this particular forum, so I'll say this,

The way the person you meet in act 3 reacts at the end of Act 3 when the thing is thrown, later on in the game we find out some info about that, so the reaction doesn't make sense.

Various things to do with certain characters and what they did during MGS1/2 time frame are meant to make sense given how the Patriots 'founder' is not running things anymore, but then the game clearly says he was running things during that time shortly after, thus contradicting itself.

Are a load of them.

I think just saying spoiler is good enough. I think that person was sad about losing "children" instead of losing the thing. I don't know what else doesn't make sense about MGS1 and 2. I don't know when he wasn't running things. He clearly was in control in MGS1.

Well i'm relieved to see we have an expert field stripper in this forumlol

The only distracting part about MGS4 cut scenes is Naomi's cleavage. I just can't stop staring at the thing.

Currently playing on PS3: God of War III
