Target Corp. stores on Sun. will begin to offer Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360 for $299 and a free gift card according to an advanced circular.

In a new Sun. circular scheduled to be released on July 13, the Xbox 360 Pro SKU is advertised at $299.99, a $50 discount from the current $349.99 MSRP.

Additionally, Target is offering a free $25 gift card instantly with the purchase of the Xbox 360 Pro.

The ad disclaims limited quantities of the product.

I think the rumour of a price drop is not so much a rumour any more. There are just too many of these ads coming out.

Plus, if your not adverse to signing up for their credit card, you could get 10%. So $269 for a Pro, with a $25 gift card. Or you could wait and see what holiday deals come up. Microsoft likes to pack two decent games with the system for Christmas and the 10% off thing works whenever.
