Forums - Sony - Anyone try a Nyko Zero for the PS3?

I generally dont like having 3rd party accessories, and I am happy with the DS 3. What I have done to overcome the issue of the USB cable, is to get a charger that plugs into the wall (my only 3rd party accessory) that looks good and stops wire dangling across the floor. It is made by Pelican and does the job well. Personally I do like the DS3s, mostly because I am just so used to the DS 2s, so the 360 controller (which needs a better name!) does feel a little weird, but the analogue sticks are certainly better

I'm currently just plugging my controllers into my laptop when I'm using them but I'll probably just get one of those charging cradles like I have for my Wii and 360...  As far as preference in controllers, I have had 3 PS2s over the years and just could never bring myself to like the DS2, either, but it is, as you say, personal...

Who's cheap-ass idea was it to ship a DS3 without a fucking usb cable?

Just a question. Why do you need it? There is at least one bundled with your PS3, and I wouldn't need 2. I have a box with unneccessary cables lying around so I don't mind not getting a cable if they can assume you already have one.

Not getting a HDMI cable with the PS3 was crappy though.

I had it...it SUCKS@!!!!! horrible...STAY AWAY!!!!!!

Hope you get the point :)

I bought another sixaxxis after cause i couldn't stand playig with this.

Well, let's see.  I like to play co-op games quite a bit and there most certainly will be times where I need to recharge both controllers at the same time.  Just for convenience's sake, it would be nice to have a couple of cables plugged into a couple of different PCs in my house so I can charge on whatever PC is currently powered up.  The point is that having it is better than NOT having it in every possible way and the cost to add that cable is negligible.

I don't know about the Dualshock but the SIXAXIS lasts for ever. Anyway the Sony usb cables won't help you much in this case anyway they are simply too short

so I can charge on whatever PC is currently powered up.

I would much rather have them charged up on a PS3 that is not powered up. With new USB ports on PCs this works (I think)

I can understand your reasons but personally I don't think that its terrible not to include a USB cable with additional controllers. Selling me a BluRay player and not including a HDMI cable is a different matter though
