I'm currently just plugging my controllers into my laptop when I'm using them but I'll probably just get one of those charging cradles like I have for my Wii and 360...  As far as preference in controllers, I have had 3 PS2s over the years and just could never bring myself to like the DS2, either, but it is, as you say, personal...
