Microsoft: 'no truth' to Banjo-Kazooie motion control speculation

Back to button mashing for Kazooie. Microsoft has sent along a brief statement allegedly clarifying what Microsoft Game Studios creative director Ken Lobb meant when he said, "you twist the controller around and it'll move different things in [Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts]." The explanation goes a lil' something like this:

"There is no truth to this speculation. Ken's comment is in reference to rotating the left analog stick while hitting the X-button to move different things in the game."

While the statement seems to confirm that Banjo-Kazooie will stick to conventional controls, it by no means denies that Microsoft is preparing a magic show for E3. Will the wand be waved? Stay tuned.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Interesting.

Poor Kazooie looks confused.

OT: This is either a great cover up, or this has all been blown out of proportions (such as by myself).

E3 will be interesting.

Ken let it slip and now MS is trying tighten the leaky faucet.

Honestly, the latest info seems to point at no xmote being unveiled at E3. There's this, and there's another report which also points in the same direction, too lazy to look it up now but it was something like "we announce a surprise announcement which is not the xmote".

It could still happen though. I'll be on vacation, so I won't be here to watch the meltdown if it happens.

As long as NetFlix partners with Live and Halo Chronicles and Bungie's next project makes a showing, E3 will be awesome. A motion controller could be cool but nothing major.

E3.........................

If they have some type of Wii type controller or the same idea controller I hope Nintendo sues or makes them stop before they make it. I mean they are blatantly stealing there idea. Seems they are so desperate to get more sales so they will do anything. If they end up do thing I hope people see they are just doing this out od desperation and do not buy the controller and the system!
