Technically speaking, this game has to be near perfect, as its focus is very much on improving technical things. Anything less than 720p @ constant 30 fps with perfect physics (including collision detection) and good AI will be a disappointment. This game is supposed to set a standard for PS3's hardware capability, much like Gears of War 2 for the 360. Poor technical standards would doom it, unless the gameplay is really good.

Not saying that K2 or LBP are gonna be good but we did hear bad things about Haze and Lair way before they were released.

i'm still skeptical on this one. i wonder how it will fare against other early 2009 titles.

killzone 2 will be a huge game for the ps3. i do hope it lives up to its hype. I also hopes its good online.

Actually, there are areas where the PS3 can outclass a PC, but not many (I can see smoke, water, and anything else that benefits from massive amounts of floating point calculations).

I don't think this will outclass Crysis as a total package, but it could surpass it in small area's.

MAybe they are taking that into concideration and saying that it is the most impressive game in gaming because of it does on its limited hardware.

its impressive, very impressive how they managed to get even better, the particles smoke, lighting got near perfect around 2007-2008.
but i don't like fps... give me ff13 already.

It looks really amazing and all the small details are cool. I just don't like the background story. The Killzone universe simply isn't cool.

It's cool to me and the style and atmosphere is a KILLA. Gonna be BIG BABY, BIG! Any fool can see this.
