Forums - Microsoft - EGM: GTA IV DLC To Reveal New Biker Character

You know what, I was just thinking while eating that what I just wrote makes it seem as though I have no idea what Interview with the Vampire is about...

Pitt's character is the MAIN character, but I am trying to say that even though you are not the main character you can still be considered a "Star".

This is why I think this new Biker character is not the MAIN character, but just a character of importance to the added storyline.

Either way... you should still watch it.

Jeez... I had to run back quick before any fans of the movie chimed in and make me look more foolish than I just made myself look.

You would be considered a Costar. Which is lesser to the "Star".

Trust me there is a reason why people are bitter about this in hollywood and about being the "Headliner".

Sometimes people will be advertised as a "Star" or "Co-Star" when their point is minor, or less important then the main star's if they are well known... however they are still not the star...

The Pitt/Cruise thing is more of a "Not wanting to hurt the others career or show favoritism even though one plays the more important role". Type of agreement.

Which is irrelevent in the case on the non-famous biker. There is no reason to call him a Star.

The same reason Megaman doesn't also star Dr. Light.

If he is just an important side character it should say he is "Costarring" in the DLC not starring.

So wouldn't it be smarter to just put "Co-starring" for a movie such as Interview with the Vampire instead of "Starring Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise"? Even so, "Co-starring" still makes it sound like both are the "Stars" of the movie.

If it were me, I would be bitter too.

This is all still just a rumor as of now, for all we know this Biker may be just another supporting character and not the games actual "Star". I hope not because if this DLC is as big as they say it is going to be I may even purchase it. I would prefer the main character to remain the same in his own game.

Edit - Just read your edited post explaining why they would put both actors down as Stars. I guess that would make sense.

So Kirsten Dunst wasn't a star in Spiderman either?

Who Stared in Interview with the Vampire? Pitt or Cruise?

The article also says it is a "character", it says nothing about "Main character".

She didn't play a starring role no.  You could consider her a "Co-star though."

In a "Co-starring" role.

As for Interview with a Vampire... I don't know.  I haven't seen the movie.  Both were likely emphasized in the advertising due to boths popularity.  Though only one was the Star.  Seeing as this biker isn't going to be a famous person... it seems unlikely that this is a case of marketing to make it look like there are more stars.

"GTA4 DLC will Star a biker main character."  is redundent.

If the biker isn't the protaganist it's simply just a misuse of the word.

maybe its more than just the biker but he's headlining the whole of the DLC as in it might be other features too along with the Biker as a character
