This reminded me.. last month I was at a Best Buy and there was a guy there buying about 20 brand new 360 titles, all at once...a salesperson was surprised and curious as to why he was purchasing so many titles at once...surprisingly, his answer wasn´t "because I like them" or something like that...his answer was "to help Microsoft win the console wars"......fuck, the guy was spending $1000 worth of games just because he felt it would help MS....a super giant facepalm immediately came to mind...I had never seen something like that.

actually i see discussions that went on between nintendo and sega lovers wasnt close to gloating on which console supposedly sucked. unlike the console wars today which all you hear from sony fanboys is "if its not HD its not a current gen system" which gets really old. the snes graphics was much superior then teh genesis' and no one really cared as long as they got to play their favortite games. but i did notice no one wanted to talk about the overpriced psone when it launched.

I like to talk about stats, and this, and that, but what I don't get is the people who's entire agenda here is to promote a system.

Not to pick on Starcraft (and he is not the only one), but he comes to mind. Every post I see from him, is really just an attempt to promote 360 superiority. I understand entering a conversation about a game, the graphic capabilities about a system from time to time, but the people who seem to have the single minded agenda of "my console is better then yours" I just don't get.

Then again, I own all three and a gaming PC, so I have no agenda when it comes to consoles.
