Before the prequels he was this cool mysterious bad ass motherf*cker with the voice of james earl jones.. now he is a sissy girly boy who lookes like Hayden Christensen and cries "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Man...  they even put him on the DVD of the Return of the Jedi at the end when Yoda Ben, and Anakin show up in Ghost form...

Yup. Put that in your pipe and smoke prequel-hater.

But I dunno who the baddest mofo of the Sith. They all kick ass(the ones in the films). All of the expanded universe stuff is not even worth considering in my mind. There have been some cool things in the EU books and games, but it's not canon...even if Uncle Georgie says it is.

But i have to hand one thing to Luke Skywalker. Don't know how much you guys read about the fate of the New Republic, but about 20 something years after the Return of the Jedi, there was this Youhzann Vong (don't know if i got it right) invasion, them being basically a race from a whole different galaxy. They really kicked everyones ass, but was also the time when Luke reached his greatest force potential.

In what sense you ask? Well imagine Luke being able to create a black hole big enough to destroy an invincible alien fleet? Now THAT is mastery of the Force.

Which is exactly my problem with the expanded universe. You have the bad-assery of the flicks, then every damn book has some Force sensitive that blows everyone's mind with his incredible Force powers, or some secret Jedi/apprentice(how many are there now?), or some Jedi pulling a starship down to the planet from space.

I hope Lucas has taken the money he made from all of these silly books and fed a lot of starving kids in Africa. Otherwise it's a crime that all of these books have pissed all over the films and their heros and villains.

No, i really liked them too. Some people are too bent up on the movies they watched through children's eyes to see the great story being expanded.

There have always been unrealistic corny dialogue and characters in every SW film. That's just SW.

My fav sith would have to be ... Darth Sidious. Such a masterful and powerful character.

A cat with a lightsaber, you leave me no choice but to use my real power.

^LOL

For everybody that's saying that the prequels messed up Darth Vader's image, while this is true, you couldn't have expected somebody to just turn out to be that bad ass. I think that that just made him a deeper character, he didn't just one day wake up and decide to become a Sith lord.

i like count duku

I didn't LOVE episodes 1-3, but the 3rd one of ALL of those was perfect. Say what you will about Anakin, but seeing him walk into that temple hell-bent on slicing up some kids... ...well, you just don't get more evil than that.

Which leads me to my nomination: MontanaHatchet

Darth and his 'saber have NOTHIN' on Montana and a ban button... ;)

I found that scene the funniest scene i've ever seen in a movie in my life...

and I've seen Jason X.

However, that's exactly what happens. He goes from having some nightmares... to almost crying over helping to kill Mace to cutting up kids.

Then almost crying over helping to kill mace and then slaughtering little kids was same day... and silly.
