A "SPE" by the way, is the synergistic processor itself, whereas a "SPU" is an individual synergistic processor, plus its memory, associated DMAs, etc -- the whole unit. Not many people care, or refer to them properly. Its a trivial detail, that only a pro might know or care about. I'm just posting it so that no one here is confused between the two, seemingly interchangable, terms.
