And your reference to sitting and talking between religions the one that does that the most to my knowlegde is Catholicism. Since JP2 there has been a lot of dialogue between the Church and Jews, muslims, orthodox, and anglican officals.

well the law I'm stating means there needs to be perfect harmony in the universe so the idea of Animism would run parallel to Newton's law. So there should always be a balance throughout everything, space, life, death, nature, etc. Or an I reading into this to much?

back to the debate, i think religion has far too much influence on politics both here in the UK and from what ive seen and heard in the US, im fed up with government policies being delayed or issues being avoided becauese a few religous people might complain, its shocking, an example of this would be gay adaption, the government here had all but brought in the legislation to allow it, when the then prime minister tony blair promised the complaining church to delay it for them, in my opinion that was an awfull decision.

very true but most of the EU and US was founded with religous beliefs and it seems that we cant remove it out of the systems completely.

times have changed though, society is more diverse now, the time has come for change, we need to promote equality and abolish discrimination

we are slowly getting there. women are close to being 100% equal to men in most jobs. African Americans are rarely attacked anymore. Muslims are the main focus of hate but even that has calmed a good amount since 9/11

I can't say there wont be hatred and inequality in 20 years but things will definitely be better all around at least in the US and EU. Other countires might even move a bit toward more equality.
