Well Shenmue sold well on the dreamcast considering its low user base but on the 360, the 360 fans didnt just take up to it well.

Scotland even had a petition signed for sega to make a part 3 :S they have to make a part 3 it would be a crime for them not to finish it. It would be like lord of the rings without the return of the king, it would be like star wars without the return of the jedi, it would be like terminator without terminator 3.... wait hold up, there not being a terminator 3 would actually be a good thing lol okay count all of them apart from terminator pls :p

Lord of the Rings and Star Wars actually made a profit

@ Riachu Dude i wasnt saying it is like them in the context of sales. I'm saying it not having a part 3 would be as annoying as lord of the rings and star wars not having a part 3. which basically means leaving teh audience in a cliffhanger forever never to know what will happen!

Becuase_shenmue2_came_out_when_the_dreamcast_was_failing.And_when_they_ported_it_to

the_xbox_shenmue_wasn't_that_graphically_amazing_as_when_it_was_on_dreamcast.

 

Plus_newcomers_wern't_aware_of_1_of_the_greatest_storylines_of_all_time_because_they_never_had_shenmue1

So_they_never_felt_the_pull_to_get_it.

Something like that. Shenmue told the first story, and Shenmue II the 3rd, 4th, and 5th stories I think.

So even if we had a Shenmue III, it wouldn't (and shouldn't) finish the saga.

I love Shenmue. I've actually been thinking about playing it again. So, yes, I would want a 3rd one, but I don't know if there will be a 3rd one.

I never got to play the 2nd one. The 1st was just amazing.
