when is this game supposed to come to the US?

 I'll let the Eurogamer mark slide for now, but EDGE? They are notoriously harsh reviewers, and gave the previous MGS game an 8, aswell. If EDGE would have marked the same as any other magazine, it would have been a nine, but they're scores are always one lower than the norm.

You lost respect for someone/thing because they didn't agree with your opinion? Wow, just... wow.

All reviews are based on an individuals opinion anyway. I hate most the grand theft auto games. graphically they aint great, they have repetitive missions and have a bland story. however, the reviewers love gta and i continue to not go with what reviewers say (although i rent or play the gta games at my mates house and i still think gta games are overrated).

Maybe eurogamer prefers the type of game Siren is to MGS4. In eurogamers opinion, he/she is correct. just as you would be correct in your opinion if u played a game and thought it was rubbish.

Another example would be Halo3 for the 360 and killzone for the ps2. All the reviewers from the net and magazines kept going on about these games like they were the greatest thing to ever have been made. Both games were good but no where near the 8/9/10 that they got. At best halo3 and killzone should have got no more then a 7 in my opinion. Granted Killzone had great graphics and it played well, but it was nothing revolutionary in terms of FPS's. halo3 was just halo2 but better looking.

You have to understand, reviewers at the end of the say are just giving their opinions and granted that their opinions conflict sometimes with what a reader may like or dislike, but at the end of the day it is what we ask for from them- their opinion :S

EDGE ,at least in its Spanish edition ,gave MGS4 a 9.

So Eurogamer are the only fools that gave the game a 8.

They have lost all their credit.

i take it you guys dont understand sarcasm. Eurogamer= Fail, this site has been a joke for the past couple of years now

I'm still on the fence with this. Eurogamer praises the storyline yet it seems to be nothing special, even cliched.
