The problem for Nintendo is that NZ is too isolated and insignificant for them to even give a damn. The fact that Nintendo specialises exclusively in videogames doesn't help either. Nintendo lacks a local office here, the closest being Nintendo Australia, relying instead on third party distributors. Sony and Microsoft on the other hand with their more diverse product range have more incentive to establish themselves locally.
