In the west. RE4 sold very poorly compared to the ps1 REs in Japan. Even after combining RE4's sales on the GC and ps2.
I agree with Kurusaka for the most part. I miss my scary REs. Bring back the survival horror kings and get rid of this action stuff. Or at least don't call it Resident Evil.

Agreed.
Though I will admit that the controls of the older REs were quite frustrating. But that could easily be fixed in a new Resident Evil.
And I agree, RE4 wasn't bad by any means. It just wasn't near as good as past Resident Evils.

Agree to disagree then. I prefer Resident Evil 4. Something still has to be done about the controls. I want to be able to shoot on the fly. Just my opinion.
