I've also been having problems with firefox. Such as it crashing, me not being able to copy and paste, and tabs not working. I'm about to go back to Firefox 2, which I had no problems at all.

sounds like a caching issue. not sure how to solve it honestly as it could be either hardware or software based.

Do you guys used clean installs or upgrades? Because I was having problems with my upgrades, so I cleaned it all and installed again and presto.

i dont know how to fix it but you can back up "bookmark.html" in
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\53x9rsj3.default. that way you wont have to loose your bookmarked sites

I only have Fire Fox 3 and add-block plus installed, and I haven't had any problems. ^_^

In fact, pages are loading a lot faster for me (some up to 8 seconds faster), my computer NEVER freezes up and crashes (like it used to...a lot...) and it's just been a great experience overall!
