I've just been looking at the survey of what games people think will be the best seller of 2008.

It seems most people are going to be incorrect as Mario Kart Wii is doing very well but I wondered if it's possible to do some kind of yearly sales chart updated each week to show which game is currently the best selling and how close or far behind others are?

Although the idea is interesting, the difficulty would be producing a chart which was accurate and meaningful at the end of the year; more than 40% of hardware and software sales in a typical year occur in the last 3 months of a year, and typically several of the best selling games of the year are sold in that time period.

Yea but it would save time for the 3 of us here that keep adding up GTA, MK, SSBB, Wii-fit and MGS sales to see whos currently winning :P
