Halo 3 looks better than Warhawk. I said even Halo 3 because Halo 3 doesn't look as good as Gears, but it still looks better then Warhawk. If I had to compare Warhawk with other big exclusive games on both systems I would list them as follows: Gears of War > Ratchet > Mass Effect > Uncharted > Bioshock > Lair > Halo 3 > Warhawk > |
Are you seriously saying that anything looks better than uncharted, cause I've never seen anything look that good. I was watching the trailer (N.B. does include some in-game action) on a 50" HDTV yesterday and it was the most beautiful thing that I have ever seen. Just a question, in Warhawk, is there an option to play splitscreen offline (so say have a 4 player game on a much smaller map)? Is there any news on a European beta? |
Yes, I think it goes up to 4 players in split screen. All you have to do is get a controller plugged in (PS2>USB adaptor works, that what I have), assign it to a port and press start. However, it only works in non-ranked games that allow split screen (not that bad when you think about it). When the other player presses start, it instantly splits the screen and the new player can join the action. To quit, the player presses start and quits the game like you would normally do by yourself, just that instead of leaving the server, the player leaves and the screen adjusts itself again.
I was able to learn how to play fairly quick, but the biggest problem right now are the crashes that really hinder prolonged gameplay, but it is a beta so I can forgive that as long as it doesn't make it's way into the final version. Also, I wouldn't recommend trying motion controls unless you make your own server to practice in because it is pretty difficult and I think you can control better and do more crazy things with the analog stick (see other planes dodge you when you get a lock on them, lol).
