Nippon Ichi and Wizards of the Coast.

I'd like Wizards of the Coast to work with that company run by the guys who made fallout.  I'm tellin you... with a few tweaks for D&D rules and the fallout engine makes a great D&D engine.

Sony and microsoft. Hey, a man can dream, right? If MGS and halo could be on 1 console, it would be perfect.

Sony and Nintendo

Around the Network

Sony and Nintendo would be a great match.

Sony and Nintendo, make an alternative looking Wi 2 based on slimline PS3 technology with Wii mote and DS4 by 2012. It should be powerful enough to emulate/upscale Wii and PS2 with software. Being able to boot into Mii world and PS Home from harddrive.

Love Sony's games and I love various Mario and some Wii mote games as well.

Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."

PS3 vs 360 sales

No more mergers. I hate them all, like a plague of fat barstards rolling around eating everything. I hate this exclusivity / merger / EA own everything attitude. Video games are MORE IMPORTANT than movies because they still maintain individuality, at least to some degree. Wii ware is a good thing.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Hey btw, its not going to be Nintendo and Sony. Its going be Sony and nintendo lower case, or it could be Sony eats, chews, spits out, eats again, s--ts, eats again and then vomits up the very remnants of originality and innovation that is Nintendo.

I've thought about the Nintendo and Sega thing, but Nintendo already has so many quality platformer franchises that Sonic wouldn't be much of a benefit to them in that area (though they'd be a benefit to Sonic). Perhaps Sega's expertise in racing games would be advantageous, but one (if not the) of their best outtings was taking on Nintendo's F-Zero series. Most of their ips are weak, and the ones that aren't tend to be in genres where Nintendo does it better.

SE, however, has a diverse set of ips (relative to Nintendo). Also, their work together in the past has been fantastic, and with the magic Nintendo touch SE should be able to get its act together. They have clearly mismanaged a significant number of their IPs.
