Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

I haven't watched TDF since the days of Big Mig, so I'm well out of touch with what goes on at the mo.

Totally out of touch this year being in China. Who are the serious contenders for the year?

valverde, evans those 2 have probably the best changes

I don't like the BS politics of keeping Astana out. I've watched every tour religiously since the early 90's. This year, I'm probably not going to watch any of it. All the politics are ruining the sport.

Carlos Sastre won the Tour de France by 65 seconds over Cadel Evans.

Shame Aussie Cadel Evans finishes runner up in the Tour De France two years in a row. Third time lucky 2009 will be Cadel Evans year where he could win the Tour De France and put Australia on the World Cycling map. Winning Olympic gold medals in one thing but it does not come close to winning the Tour De France.

I'm glad Sastre won, he atleast was in the attack

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
