A ban is a period of time where a certain user is not allowed to log on to their username due to a certain offense against the forum rules. The time for which they are banned is based on the degree and nature of their offense. A "Permaban" is when a user is not allowed to log on to his username for an extraordinarily long period of time, so it is not really a "Permanent Ban".

Well, remember that he was permabanned before, so any small offense might get him perma banned again. I rembember that ioi gave everyone a last chance, too bad Leo blowed it.

 Thankyou. I really didn't need to be told what a 'ban' was, but thanks for explaining the permaban. That explaination sounds like it was taken straight out of the dictonary.

 Well after reading the thread I believe that the thread should have been locked and no bans handed out.

It was just a bad topic. It's like if a cop tells you they wont do anything if you to confess to a crime.

Especially after Gebx and Cremator both broke forum rules and all fishyjoe did was lock the thread.

Also the ban was an hour after the post. So was the ban do to that post? I dont know there is no explination.

On top of that I dont know what rule he broke.

 mods can change the amount I believe. look at the date. 2010.
