It tries to overtake Kingdom Hearts as the best RPG ever.

My own bias does not let me thing about it.

Uh...how did you play it the "wrong" way? There is no "wrong" way. Complete it now.

If you go to the Luin/Asgard area at the beginning of the game instead of going to Palmacosta, you will play those two sections in the opposite order that most walkthroughs tell you to.  This is how I first played through the game (after going through the Ossa Trail I didn't even notice Izoold and ran straight to Luin).  You actually create a bit of a paradox by doings so though.

I know, but it's not "wrong." It's not game breaking or anything lol. You just get more of a challenge that way plus that part of the game isn't supposed to be that linear anyway.

True, but a walkthrough would tell you to go to Palmacosta.  Some may feel the walkthrough is basically telling them they played it in the wrong order.

alucardremixed, do you remember where the walkthrough told you to take a different route.

I am at least 98% positive that KH3 will focus on the Soul.

@SilentWolf no idea, but the way the walkthrough plotted what to do in a specific chronological order that made me think i did everything wrong.

I also forgot to mention how i played ToS for 60+ hours and then looked at the walkthrough ...

TOS and DQ 8 were the best RPGs last generation. I bought my copy used at GS for 18 bucks. The best money I have ever spent.

Well, like Soriku said, there is really no wrong order to play the game.  A couple events in the game are meant to be interchangeable as far as the order you play them in.  As long as you are able to get to the end of the game, you played it in a right way.
