Forums - General - Anybody into Formula 1??

I do...been into it for years...im old enough to remember the senna days well..I lost a bit of interest since schumacher retired last year but still check it out..I love the ferraris always did always will although this year seems to be a mc laren year. The insider battle between newbie hamilton and world champion alonso seems to be the focus this year. A bit sad about that since im a ferrari nut but i guess we had our fair share of victories these past years hehehe

me too, I'm a ferrari supporter, the last grand prix in canada was awersome i hope this one will be better. I am dissapointed with Kimi's performance, I mean Massa is ahead of him in the points and Massa is the 2nd pilot of ferrari, and what hamilton is doing is truly amusing. sorry for my english.

I'm regularly watching the races, there's often nothing more interesting on sunday afternoons.

As a Swiss, I always focused on Sauber-Petronas, but since they are working together with BMW, the identification is not as high as it was.

For the rest, as in all sports, the Swiss (and because of that, me too) doesn't want the germans to win, so I was anti-Schumacher for the last decade. Now that he has left I don't really know who to support anymore, but I like Raikkonnen (don't think that this is spelled correctly, but anyways) because he started his career with Sauber.

sadly, in America they only show NASCAR 99% of the time, with the last 1% being drag racing unless you have extended cable (like 1000 channels vs. the standard 100) which costs to much. And even then, your lucky if you get a handful of the races cause they change the show time without warning. The most i can my hands on is some MotoGP and AMA motorcycle racing, and even then its hit or miss.

I'll be sad if rossi ever switches from MotoGP to F1 though (they tried to drag him over last year)

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

I followed pretty regularly in 2004/2005.  In 2006 I forgot to start following it when it started, and in the latter half of the year moved and don't have cable TV.  So I haven't followed it since.  I love the current group of commentators on Speed, and it's the one biggest reason I wish I had cable/TiVo.

The Renault/McLaren-Mercedes battle in 2005 was really a sight to see, with Alonso/Raikkonen leading respectively.

yes and sadly I am an Honda fan...and yes they are bad
