Forums - PC - Looking for a good, but not extremely high priced, display monitor!

Sorry for the late reply, we got ours (2 of them for the office which I was testing them for) at Microcenter. I don't think it's manufacturer deal sort of thing. Here is the link anyway,

http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0282456 .

Well 22" is actually quite deceiving for a widescreen, the vertical is not much larger than a regular 19". So it's not quite the overkill you might be thinking of.

Around the Network

Sorry about that, didnt notice the lack of mac compatibility. But for the question, You have to literally be almost viewing the thing perpendicular to not be able to see anything. Good luck with the other monitor though!

I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.

"is it Wii FIt that has sold as many as PS3's sold? Thats a LOL Look at the total sales of software is it just me that sees Nintendo titles hitting 10m+ and you say they arent making a difference? Another LOL!"

"Hell, with all the negative hype Sony spin, people just aren't interested cost is too high and to get the true HD experience (1080p, 7.1 surround) you will need a $1000+ system. THAT IS GOING TO DO IT IN A RECESSION! PS4 will not happen"

I have an Acer 22" that was normally $250, I got it on Black Friday for $170...it's probably around $220 list price right now...you can get deals on 22" monitors sometimes for around $200. Acer is a good, reliable brand...there are better, more glossy monitors, but those are usually 24" and waay more expensive anyway.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Hmm, they're slightly different...nearly the same though.

Mine has more contrast and is still $250, but that's probably because it doesn't sell as well as your model. For $170 I think I got a good deal though.
