The new system is a good idea, its much more equitable.

Just a point of interest: how did you work out the number of points each trophy is worth on the PSN? Those are surely estimates. Well, Bronze being equal to 1 must be an estimate. I can see how you calculated the relative worth of the others.

Not sure if I am late, or if it just went up, but the 1.50 Warhawk update is available.

I collected and recorded bits of data from my PSN account, tracking my gamer level and the individual progress on each game as I earned trophies. I also used bits of data from the table here to determine the number of trophies required to level up. I then did trail and error testing on various trophy values against the data I had collected to see if the trophy values fit the data I had collected.

Another bit of info that has been mentioned by developers in the playstation blog is that they are limited in the number of trophies they can include in a game. So if you apply the number of points per trophy type to the number of trophies found in a game, you get this:

This shows that PS3 titles are limited to 82 points, PSN titles to 21 points, and PSN expansions to 6 points. They have to decide how to allocate those points. We have to wait until the Warhawk trophy patch is release to determine how many points are allocated for PS3 expansion packs.

Looks like MikeB was missed too...but he didn't provide his PSNID and he might not have added vgchartz to his PSN friends list.

Total trophies for Warhawk + 3 exp pack is 36 bronze, 13 silver, 7 gold, 1 platinum.

This gives 116 minus 82 which is 34 and not divisible by 3...

A closer look at the trophies seems however to point out that every Warhawk expansion pack has 1 gold and 3 silver trophies...

Which would give us 12 points per expansion pack and somehow have Warhawk itself provides 80 points instead of the usual 82.

The bronze/silver in the list after the gold trophies are hidden trophies ( have to unlock to see what to do, I already got my patch over lunch lol).

How do they know the trophy types of the secret ones?
