Vivendi only bought a small part of Activision, but big enough for Vivendi to keep a majority ownership of the new Activision Blizzard, after the merge.

Even if Diablo 3 does, most hardcore gamers will get the PC version. I mean can there be a version than can be more hardcore than a PC version?

I played Diablo on PS and it was ok. Even if this game does not come to consoles, find a way to play it. Diablo 1/2 kicked ass and from the video I saw, this one will too. This and Spore may just reignite pc gaming for me(I play COD4, TF2, and Battlefield online every now and then).

I see it as quite possible. Throw in mouse and keyboard support and ps3 owners who don't wanna pay 2000+ bucks for a gaming rig can play just as good as some one playing on a pc

^^I doubt Blizzard will not make this playable on a very wide range of PCs. They made WoW playable on just about anything you could throw at it. It might not look incredibly amazing but it will play well. I think they managed to get it up and running on an AppleII. LOL.
